Premium Craft Ground Tea
You might be wondering, "Is this just marketing fluff?" We assure you, it's not. At Two Quacks, we're committed to delivering a superb tea experience, and that begins with using high-quality loose leaf teas.
Historically, tea powders have garnered a poor reputation due to their use in instant tea products and generic, low-quality tea bags filled with tea fannings. Tea fannings and dust are essentially the remnants from the processing of teas—what's left at the bottom of the barrel, often considered the lowest grade of tea.
In contrast, loose leaf tea represents the pinnacle of quality. This tea is processed to preserve the whole leaf, retaining its purest form. Brewing the whole leaf allows for the extraction of complex and nuanced flavors, offering tea drinkers a complete and rich experience.
However, these are not absolute rules. The quality of the tea itself is paramount. Even fannings and dust from the finest teas can produce an excellent cup, while poor-quality loose leaf might yield only a mediocre one. At Two Quacks, our journey starts with premium loose leaf teas, which we then grind into a fine powder. Consuming the whole leaf, much like matcha, results in a strong, concentrated flavor that forms the ideal foundation for our milk tea blends.
We take great pride in our collaborative approach with our tea partners and our Research & Development (R&D) teams. This collaboration has enabled us to source the right teas and fine-tune the balance of tea flavor, creaminess, and sweetness to perfect the flavor profile of our drinks.
All this, to give you a damn good sip of tea. We hope you think so as well. And if you don’t, we got you covered too.Different tea forms
