FAQs

General Information

What is Craft Ground Milk Tea?

At Two Quacks, our journey starts with premium loose leaf teas, which we then grind into a fine powder. Consuming the whole leaf, much like matcha, results in a strong, concentrated flavor that forms the ideal foundation for our milk tea blends. For more details, check out our Craft Ground Tea page.

What flavor of teas do you have?

We are always looking to expand our product offering but we currently have Roasted Oolong, Golden Lily, Matcha, and Jasmine Oolong milk tea flavors. Keep an eye on our website and follow TwoQuacksTea instagram for announcements.

What is the sediment at the bottom of the cup?

This is a sign that you have real grounded tea in your cup. This is where all the tea flavor is coming from.

Do I need to brew your milk tea?

Yes! The recipes we have created use real tea. It is important to stir the tea blends with hot water to release the complex flavors before adding ice.

What is the best way to prepare the tea?

Check out our Brewing Instructions. We provide different methods that may best suit different lifestyles. We also encourage you to share your methods and recipes by tagging the TwoQuacksTea instagram.

Is there dairy in Two Quacks milk teas?

While we use a non-dairy creamer, the creamer has sodium caseinate which is a milk derivative.

Can I add boba to your teas?

Absolutely! Add boba or any other milk tea topping and please share your recipes by tagging the TwoQuacksTea instagram.

Also, we are currently working on a boba to pair with our Craft Ground Milk Teas. Please keep an eye on our Roadmap.

What ingredients do you use for your milk teas?

Specific ingredients list can be found on each product page but the primary ingredients are tea, sweeteners, and (non-dairy) creamer.

How do I adjust the sweetness?

Adjust the flavor and sweetness by using less powder (recommended: 40 grams) or adding more water to dilute the mixture. Feel free to customize it to your taste!

Why is it watery?

Through our testing, we found the best way to preserve flavor and avoid a watery taste is to add ice in two phases. First, add a small amount of ice to cool the liquid without diluting it too much. Once the drink has cooled from blending, add more ice to reach your desired temperature. This method helps lock in the flavor while preventing the ice from watering it down.
